Today this website is officialy launched. As you probably can tell, there's still a lot of work to do, but hey... The beginning is there!
I am building this website for for a Gambian artist (painter) named Ibrahim Sesay (Jr). Me and him are going to try to sell his paitings in The Netherlands and perhaps even in all of Europe.
The idea is to use the fundings we earn for a lot of community support in The Gambia. This will benefit Ibrahim and the people he holds dear at first. But if we can make good sales then more people will benefit. (We don't have this exactly clear yet, as we are just starting this project.)
At the moment of writing there's a lot going on! While one painting is allready finished (I bought it a couple of months ago) two others are at the framer, and Ibrahim is painting ten new ones. So this project is really in it's earliest stage.
I will try to equip this website with additional pages soon, providing you the information you seek. Pages with information about Ibrahim, about myself and about the projects we are invested in. In the mean time I will keep those who are interested informed using this blog page.
